The Quill Consultancy is hereinafter referred to as “The Quill”. The Quill may be contacted on +61 3 6231 0577. 2 A visit to The Quill website may result in anonymous gathering of information for statistical and site management purposes. By utilising The Quill and providing personal information to it the user consents to the collection and reasonable use by The Quill of the user’s personal information. The Quill will take all reasonable steps to ensure that information given to The Quill by users is afforded privacy and maintained in a confidential and secure manner consistent with the provision of the services. 5 The Quill does however require that the information provided by the user be accurate and pertinent to its purposes. 6 While The Quill shall use its best endeavours to ensure any personal information of a user that it records is accurate and up-to date, it is the obligation of the user to ensure that any personal information provided by the user is precise and correct and to notify The Quill of any inaccuracy the user is aware of. The Quill accepts no liability for any transmitting of information to an authorised third party that occurs as a result of incorrect information being provided to it or the user failing to up-date any such information. 7 Only authorised servants or agents of The Quill will have access to that information for the primary purposes of performing the services pertaining to the user. The user nevertheless accepts that some of the information provided might also be utilised for The Quill’s secondary purposes such as statistical surveys but only where such information is in aggregated form where the identity of the user remains anonymous. The Quill may provide such aggregated information to third party organisations providing analytical or marketing services. The user hereby acknowledges that any such link is provided for its convenience only. 4 Registration 4.1 In order to register for the provision of services such as training, the user will need to provide an email address and possibly utilise a password in order to access various sections of the website. The user will be requested to provide personal information such as name and personal contact details. The user agrees and consents to The Quill using this information for communication relating only to the provision of the particular service for which it is provided. 4.2 The user only agrees and consents to The Quill forwarding communications such as regular newsletters and the like to the user by email if the user elects to opt into receiving such information by selecting the newsletter checkbox in any registration dialogue box or on-line form that is provided. 5 Security 5.1 Re-authentication of your details may be required of you in the interests of security. The Quill will not be liable for any information which may be lost if a user’s browser session is terminated due to a long period of inactivity between the user’s browser and the website or any failure of connection by any other cause. 5.2 Upon registration by a user, The Quill will assign a unique identifier for each user which, in conjunction with the user’s email address, password (if required) and name, will constitute the primary security measure for access to services provided on or via the website. 5.3 Users who elect to register are required to keep any passwords and any unique identifier assigned by The Quill secure and confidential at all times. 6 Alterations 6.1 The Quill may alter these Terms and Conditions at any time.
