Staff changes

It is always sad to farewell staff who are leaving but the time has come for us to do just that for two of our staff.

Dean Estcourt left recently to pursue his career in IT in Melbourne while Brett Henderson is off to Europe with his wife Maryann where they both intend to expand their professional experiences.

Dean and Brett both joined us directly after graduating from the University of Tasmania and have proved to be wonderful staff members. Both have been involved in a range of activities including network support, training and software development; I am sure our clients that Brett and Dean have worked with, will join us in wishing them well in their future careers.

Continuing our recent tradition of employing exiting university students we have recently appointed Tobin Millen to the Quill staff. Tobin will initially be involved in support of the Quill’s internal network, Crystal Reports development and general client support. He will also continue to work on a document management system that was developed by a group of third year university students as part of their major project; Tobin was a member of this team and will take this software to a stage where we can use it for internal document control and possibly beyond that to something that could be useful to other small to medium organisations that need proper document control tools.
