The Quill Consultancy specialises in computer training,
technical documentation and
consultancy services. The Quill Consultancy is a Microsoft Certified
Partner.

We have a number of full-time trainers with a wide range of experience in computer applications.
Most have tertiary qualifications in teaching and are either Certified Microsoft Professionals
or Product Specialists. Our high quality courses are held in our well equipped training rooms.
Group sizes are normally limited to eight participants and all courses are conducted using
Intel Pentium- and Core Duo-based
IBM-compatible Personal Computers.
Course manuals, morning and afternoon teas are provided, and for lunch we are located just a short stroll
from the city or North Hobart.
We are happy to conduct training needs analyses, tailor courses to suit particular needs and can provide
on-site training if required
We believe that good user documentation is a critical part of any software system. It should not assume
any previous knowledge of the package and computing generally.
Novice users are often the greatest beneficiaries of user documentation. They need complete instructions -
even if only to make them feel confident that they are following the right steps.
We write documentation that is clear, concise and jargon-free, but sufficiently comprehensive to provide
answers to all the anticipated problems a user is likely to have.
We can provide hard-copy manuals and can also develop on-line documentation using
RoboHelp, Windows Help, Lotus Notes and HTML format.

The Quill Consultancy can provide a high level of technical support to
organisations using Windows - based networks. Technical staff currently possess
up-to-date
MCSE qualifications. Through these qualifications and years of experience with
the Windows environments we can support the network infrastructure of both
small businesses and large organisations. We can provide support for

Help Desk Services
The Quill Consultancy provides post-training telephone support to seminar
participants as a standard service. Also, we have help desk services
supporting a number of local and interstate corporate clients through both
fee-per-call and fixed-price contracts. These services extend to clients
who require networking and technical helpdesk support.
