Space mark with grammar checker

The number of spaces left after a sentence is often debated in a office. Do we leave one or two spaces?

When checking a document for spelling and grammar, the grammar settings allows you to set an option to check the number of spaces left after a sentence to make sure it is consistent throughout the document.

  1. From the Tools menu select Options.
  2. Select the Spelling & Grammar tab.
  3. Click on the Settings button.


     
  4. Under Require select the options you want for the number of spaces required between sentences.
  5. Click OK.

Change bullets and numbering quickly

To quickly change the formatting of bullets and numbering without having to go through the Format menu:

  1. Hold your cursor directly on top of one of the bullets or numbers in your list.
  2. Double-click on top of the bullet or number.

The Bullets and Numbering dialog box is displayed.

Remove text formatting

Highlight want text you want to reset to the normal font and press Ctrl Spacebar.
